Tanja Watson is a dedicated Community Advocate, Educator, and Master Social Worker (MSW) who has spent over 20 years walking alongside families in foster care and childcare ministry. For Tanja, this work is far more than a career—it is a daily lifestyle, a spiritual walk, and a profound commitment to serving others.
Through decades of joined efforts stretching from her own home to local classrooms, Tanja recognized a critical gap in the resources available to neurodivergent individuals and those who love them. Guided by faith and a passion for advocacy, she founded SpecMore to ensure that youth and adults on the spectrum, along with their families, receive the dedicated support they truly deserve.
As a seasoned leader, Tanja specializes in wrapping families in practical help and real peace of mind. She is particularly passionate about equipping and uplifting alternative caregivers—including grandparents, foster parents, aunts, uncles, and legal guardians—ensuring that no matter what a family structure looks like, they never have to walk the journey alone.
